AWFS Website Shipping & Returns Policy
Most orders are dispatched within two business days of order receipt. If for some reason your order cannot be dispatched within this timeframe, we will contact you via the email address provided.
Shipping rates vary depending on delivery location and the physical size and weight of the product selected. Orders over a certain value may be delivered freight free and flat freight rates for orders below these values apply. Note: Bulky items may incur additional manual handling fees and fire extinguishers and some other products may also incur a dangerous goods surcharge. See table below for freight free thresholds and freight surcharges.
Freight will be calculated and shown at the checkout and you will have the option to cancel your order if you do not wish to proceed.

We use a variety of shipping methods and companies depending on the product being shipped and the delivery address location. These companies include Australia Post, Startrack, Toll & TNT. For bulky items other companies may also be used.
Please ensure someone is available to accept your delivery at the nominated address or re-delivery charges may apply.
Please Note: With the exception of some smaller items we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
You will receive a notification confirming dispatch of your order. If supplied by the freight company a tracking number will also be provided.
You will be notified if an item you have ordered is not currently in stock and provided an estimated availability date. In the case of back ordered products you will have the option to take part delivery, wait for the entire order or cancel back ordered items from your order and receive a refund.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Returns and exchanges for products purchased online will be accepted where the product has not been used or tampered with, is returned complete with all packaging in resalable condition, and when we have been notified via email of your intention to return within seven days of receiving the goods. Returned goods must be received back by Australia Wide Fire Supplies within 30 days of original purchase date.
Any refund or exchange will not be made until such time goods are returned and the cost of returning goods must be covered by the purchaser. If the product is faulty, we will cover all return shipping costs and supply you with a replacement product. If the return is for any reason other than a product fault, original shipping charges may be deducted from any refund. Any refund is at the absolute discretion of Australia Wide Fire Supplies.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
If you wish to cancel an order please notify us as soon as possible by calling 02 4954 0333 during business hours or by email firstname.lastname@example.org Please quote your order number in any correspondence.
Cancellations after an order has been dispatched for shipping may incur freight charges incurred.
Specific Product Warranty Periods:
- Portable Fire Extinguishers – 5 years subject to below conditions
- Other Goods – A twelve-month warranty against manufacturers faults and defects applies to all other products supplied by Australia Wide Fire Supplies Pty Ltd.
This warranty period commences from the day such goods were purchased (invoice date) from AWFS.
Warranty only applies to goods which are used in such a way that they were designed to be used and in accordance with any applicable legislation and Fire Protection Industry recommendations, recommended service requirements and guidelines.
All goods should be inspected for defects and faults upon receipt and any goods found to be faulty or containing a defect should not be used. All warranty claims must be made by emailing email@example.com or by calling 02 4954 0333 during business hours, within seven days of receipt.
If requested, faulty / defective goods must be returned to AWFS as soon as practical for evaluation and the costs associated with shipping the goods to AWFS are normally at the expense of the purchaser. Shipping costs associated with the replacement of any goods found to be defective or faulty are normally at the expense of AWFS.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
