PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The BFM 3% to 6% Foam Making Branchpipe kit was developed to augment the firefighting capabilities of a standard fire hose reel. While traditional fire hose reels are only suitable for fighting Class A fires such as wood, paper and textiles, the BFM allows you to very quickly and conveniently convert your existing fire  hose reel  to a foam  making station, to both  improve your  Class A firefighting capability  and add  additional Class  B fire capabilities  for combating fires such as petrol, oils, paints and solvents.

DESIGN:

The unique variable proportioning 3 % & 6 %Foam Making Branchpipe employs a sophisticated venturi system that ensures consistent induction of foam solution through a range of water supply pressure. The unit is fitted with strainers on both the foam and water inlets to prevent obstruction and damage caused by foreign matter. Proportioning is easily adjusted by rotating the body on the clearly marked eductor unit attached to the branch.

MATERIALS:

The unit is constructed from a selection of high density plastics, PVC hose and glass filled nylon components making it suitable for marine and other aggressive environments.
